What i go to school for

it almost should be illegal to be having so much fun at work; but then again, once our Pay Good Damn Eng (compared to our seniors in schools now la) days are over, reality will set in and we'll look back and sigh in sweet nostalgia.

it's kinda surreal, being paid to go to school, play sports and have fun. but underlying all this enjoyment is the constant nag at the back of my head that we cannot afford to slip up too much, cuz at the end of the day, these people are not only my friends, but my future colleagues.

actually if you really think about it, we're constantly being judged everywhere, no? so why does being in NIE make a difference than, say, being the centre of gossip in school/hall? people spread rumors perhaps to fill the boring void in their own lives, but do they even for one moment stop to think how much it might hurt the target? not really. maybe it's in human nature to satiate our own selfish curiosity and viciousness at the expense of others. oh definitely.

but why?
