you know, i really don't like it when...
- strangers get uncomfortably close to me, and worse still, brush past me.
- people happily eat their chicken wings/ shellfish/crabs, and leave the remains behind in a dirty, untidy pile ON THE TABLE TOP. imagine how disgusting it is for the cleaner!
- i get 'scolded' for not being able to speak mandarin. worse still, sometimes i get THE evil eye, or people simply continue speaking in a language i don't totally understand. it's my fault that i look chinese. and this inevitably leads to....
- i tell people i'm not chinese and i have to answer the ABCD set questions; where are you from? when did you come over? is your whole family here? are you from the north or south? the last question in particular annoys me because it shows extreme ignorance. BUT kind interest is still better than cold disinterest.
- i go for drinks/dinner with females and they think i have a dick and will pay for them. maybe once, twice, but not all the time, yes?
- i am lied to. who enjoys being told a lie? but i find it especially irksome.
- i'm driving and i constantly meet idiot drivers on the road. and sigh why are 80% of them women???
- i open a can of coke before i sleep, and wake up the next morning and realise that i now have a can of unfinished, flat coke sitting prettily on my table.
- i am nagged at. *cough* you know who you are!!!
- i have nothing else better to do with my life than lie on my tummy and think of my pet peeves.
