wheeeee~~!

Went down to N*IE today to hand in some forms; could have mailed it in, but the buggers gave me a blank form, so i had to make my way to the other end of earth. which was really interesting. cuz here, a location that takes more than an hour by public transport is considered super inaccessible, but in bigger countries, it's no biggie to drive hours to get to a place. like how the fuckers in anaheim told us that the nearest target store was, like, 4 blocks away from the hilton, and since the weather was sho gorgeous, my mom sister and i decided to WALK there. and my feet died. i died. so i guess the smaller and more convenient country you live in, the more you take for granted the accessibility of locations and things. trouble is, many people here don't realise, or simply refuse to appreciate this. ah well.

ANYWAY. hanny hearts the campus there! perhaps it's the absolute we're-our-own-country location of the place, but when i walked into the admin building, i felt a certain sense of calmness. well, besides the fact that i was lugging around a heavy bag and sweating like a pig. perhaps it's the colour of the buildings. perhaps it's the fact that the buildings actually look like they were designed and built carefully. not like NU*S. got factory feel sial. build on every available space then always kena mudslide when it rains. but the students there look weeeird. at least the admin staff were pretty nice.

after N*IE went to Jurong point to buybuybuy useless nonsense. i like. i got a funky postit dispenser ok how cool is that? also pretty tablemats and a makeup pouch and fc*uk perfume which was damn cheap and books and so many more. retail therapy who doesn't like? opportunity cost: yoga session, therefore about 500 calories still swirling around in the body. the yummy jap dinner doesn't help.
