ok. so xmas 2005 came and went. had an extremely PG christmas- dinner with the family. mom, as usual, cooked a mountain of food (pics to be uploaded when i'm not having training in half an hour; why oh why am i blogging now so silly) which we could not finish, since they said it was a strictly family affair and i didn't invite any of my friends. if the amount of food at my bbq was level 1000, my mom's parties must be at least masters thesis level. hur hur

no, wait, i actually made an attempt to funky-fy the mom and the sister, and dragged them out to orchard on xmas day. HUGE mistake. gosh.

Han Na: mom, these people should just stay at home.. or go to their heartland malls, not clog up orchard with their ugly clothes and.. argghhh
Mama Park: town is the happening place, right? during the weekdays go to heartland malls, during the weekends come to orchard!
Han Na: faints as another auntie elbows her in the rib

and after an hour or so of trying to wade through the faceless crowd, i began regretting going to the accursed place- should have just left the bloody car at home, and taken a walk down. ironically, it took us sooo long to drive the less-than-5-mins it would usually take to reach wheelock place. hate it! and what's up with the queue outside louis vuitton boutique?? first trip to town returning empty handed. :(

so. xmas is so overrated as a holiday, but under-appreciated as a day of religious significance. but then again, what else is new?

P/S. went to watch Narnia again, this time with the family. omg. so love the movie. if you didn't like it.. shaddup you suck. haha! ^^
