OHOH. went to eat AUTHENTIC napalese food with Bazoooo & some d blk guys (d cow not included) ok, so i acted like a tourist. ok, so i ooooh-ed & ahhhhhh-ed at everything, BUT. it was an interesting cultural experience ok. so enriching was d experience tt i took to snapping pics of silly things, until d FOOD arrived. upon which, i forgot abt how everything in d restaurant was from Nepal- d funky copper plates & cups, tablecloth, & even.. d owner! *gasp*
Gurkha Palace! images of bronzed gurkha gods with chiselled cheekbones floated to HanNy's mind.. (d ah pek in white cap is wilson, btw)
d abovementioned copper (or bronze?) plate & cup. told Bazooo tt he'd better not piss his mom/future wife off. copper plates=veri heavy=deadly weapon.
d funky menu!! but i'm ahamed to report tt, after all tt diligent foto taking, d Bazoooo started ordering in Nepalese, & i was too bz taking a video of tt, & d food arrived pretty soon so i forgot to take pics of d food. :(
& d food was pretty damn good la! i especially liked d vege curry-like thingie. so much nicer than Bazooo's comm hall dinner, which i sometimes pinch. hur hur n i tried GOAT meat for d first time! & dint like it. bleh. butbut. company was great la haha felt like some glamorous foreign exchange student, absorbing international culture. felt like such a foreigner. ^^ a suggested place for d next MAF outing?
was telling Marcus & d 2-ings tt sometimes i'd b in a bus/taxi/car & look out of d window, &, upon seeing palm tress, b suddenly reminded tt heeyyyy, dis is ingapore. tropical island! & strangely, i seem to b discovering places here tt i've never been to, after all these yrs here. interesting!
went to IMM with yiling & marcus for dinner, where extensive abuse of d possum took place. well.. they kept on giggloing behind my back! haha so silly. but i had fun. juz brainlessly buying stuff, hitting marcus, etc. :)
ok. d good news is tt i got a reali reali pretty new jacket. but d bad news (for me) is tt yiling says it'd b better if it were a bit bigger. riiite. i'm fat. hahaha gonna change it tml or sometihng, onli tt it was d last piece, n i doubt they come in sizes any bigger. which means i'll probably haf to choose another design. sadness. booooo.

but all things considered, a day which began potentially sucky turned out pretty alrite. :) no man is an island. & my com is suddenly super slow. so i'll stop here for today n try to get some shuteye before tuition later.
