Help!

Hi there,

Han Na called; she'd like to have herself back. Lately, she feels so tired. So drained. She has not been meeting up with friends, she has not been going out, she has not been going around town. Not that she was ever a party animal, of course not. But as the months pass, she feels as if somebody has replaced her with an automaton; a machine programmed to run on the expectation of others, fuelled by (false) impressions that people around her have of her.

She is sick and tired of trying her best to do what she feels is right; time and again, people disappoint her, disgust her even, with their selfishness and self-centredness. Han Na never believed in inconveniencing others; quite the contrary, actually. She tries her best to be as considerate as she can, and likes to go to bed with a clear conscience. Then one day, something snapped.

Why does she make sure to NOT make life difficult for others, when they continually prove to her that they definitely will not do likewise, for her, or for anyone else? Why does she fail to realise that, for most people, the drama that is their lives engulf them and blind them to everything else, and to everyone else? Maybe the last selfish bitch she met had something good going. Wound those bastards before they get to you.

Oh dear. Han Na has never exactly been a rainbow-loving optimist, but this is getting ridiculous. Being a realist is one thing; losing faith in humankind is another.

See? Now she is becoming what she detests the most; an overly-emotional and selfish drama queen.
