jumping off from a 21m tower isn't a problem.
crawling across a rope suspended 9m from the ground, while challenging, isn't a problem.
balancing on high elements and making my way to safety isn't a problem.
setting up a tent isn't a problem.
showering with ice cold water after a long hot day isn't a problem.
squeezing with 3 other people in a tent built on hard ground isn't a problem.
building a raft and securing barrels to the frame using knots isn't a problem.
sharing utensils and eating yucky food isn't a problem.
what IS a problem, however, is the discovery that i still have a lot to learn.
wanting to be more of a comfort to a friend with phobia of heights, but realising that i'm not exactly the cry-on-my-shoulders-i'm-so-encouraging kind of friend, is a problem.
being afraid of the dark and imagining a non-existent pursuer is a problem.
acting all bratty and refusing to eat enough, and getting tired and cranky, is a problem.
only participating actively in the things that i like to do, and leaving out the rest, is a problem.
being impatient with others who might not share the same enthusiasm- and comfort level-as me, is a problem.
doing things my way and expecting to get away with it is a problem, even though that happens most of the time hee hee
not knowing, or acknowledging, my limits and pushing myself too much, too fast, is a problem. see la act hero now i'm dying. worth it or not i ask you; WORTH IT OR NOT.
and expecting others to do the same, is DEFINITELY a problem.
just like what i shared on the first day, we all have different levels of comfort (and yes i am very comfortable *squeals*) to different challenges. if i am more comfortable with a certain activity, it does not mean that i can berate others for not being on the same comfort level as me. just like how i would want my peers to understand my shortcomings and be generous with my inadequacies.
but then again, you'll always have FUCKTARDS.
people who are inconsiderate enough to blabber away loudly in their tents at 0530 and wake others up.
people who lack the initiative to volunteer/ help.
people who...
ah. but then again, it's always the same story. how boring.
