it's interesting how...

an outing can go from tired to exhausted, just like that. two weary people suffering through a too-long movie which turned out to be a thoroughly lackluster adaptation of an almost-equally bland book on a weekday night = potential combustion; one implicit, the other, extremely explicit.

i'm supposed to be in a near-perfect situation but isn't the audacity to assume perfection the worst case of amplified hubris; just because yours isn't going too swimmingly doesn't mean that mine is wonderful all the time. as evidenced by the abovementioned example, once again mentioned to illustrate a pointless point.

i'm supposed to be sleeping now because i'm going tanning with roomie later today and the only darkness i want on my body is.. well, everywhere except under my eyes. and i'm obviously not doing this.

i keep getting the feeling that i ought to shut this little blog down and move elsewhere; unwelcome visitors make me wearily wary, and why should that be the case?

right now the only thing i'm looking at is what is in front of me.

eram quod es, eris quod sum.
