as promised, kiddies, the fight has begun; who will emerge victorious, only time will tell.
my slippers broke! how upsetting; i refuse to purchase another overpriced pair, since they seem to snap more easily than a pms-ing sarcastic teacher on a rainy monday morning. upsetting, nevertheless. sigh.
grand plans to invade the idyllic (not to mention mosquito-infested) island of u b in has been thwarted by greed borne out of necessity and condoned by tradition; not-so-long story believe me and it's much less interesting than it sounds so shall we just leave it at that?
went back to watch ha ndball finals and thought back of the times when i literally drowned in a sea of blue; good times. was a bittersweet rekindling of memory, being there but not being a part of it, especially since both sides were not even K^R haha one not-so-nice encounter though.
sorta ugly R^H guy: where are you from?
me: considering a wide array of smart ass answers but decided against it since i was standing right in the smack middle of their players' side umm am i not supposed to be here?
sorta ugly R^H guy: ya this is the bench area can you go over to the other side (or something to that effect)
me: run to tweety for cover! (who's some legendary R^H keeper of 'olde times yore', to quote chaucer)
like, hello, no need to be rude, it's not like i was blocking anyone or causing any sort of disturbance- yes hard to believe i know but believe me this. perhaps it was because i was wearing a white jersey that made him assume i was from a certain hall, but still! a little civility never hurt anyone, and he could have just asked. oh well another case of an innocent spectator being swept up in inter-hall hostilities hur hur
so now i've got an overripe pomelo in my room. who's gonna save me now? =)
