feels like the holidays are finally here, beautiful wedding notwithstanding. one week of pure rest at home, followed by a return to THE homeland; back for christmas, and i take off again. whee what fun; no, seriously.
'if you don't try.. you'll never know'. i know. but sometimes trying gets you nowhere, or even worse, puts you in a truly shiteous situation. sure, you've tried, but at what cost? i know we only live once, but the regret of not having dared to do something seems like the lesser evil between that and the sinking feeling of remorse at having done it and realizing that it's totally not worth it. words and actions are like toothpaste, yes? once you squeeze it out, you can't put it back. something for you to chew on. *munch munch*
choices in life. when there are too many, we complain (or rather, i do haha), and when there are none offered... yup i still complain. either that, or i stumble and lose my balance while looking restlessly for more options, when none were necessary in the first place. just like how, when you go shopping for a pair of shoes you always see the most fantastic pair in the first store, but refuse to buy it cuz something better might come along. lemme tell you a secret... something better... almost always never comes along.
