love

my papa and younger sis (during her CONSIDERABLY SKINNIER TIMES *snicker*) and yes, the little v-sign is apparently a genetic condition.

it's nice to see him so relaxed and loving with her; he never had time for us when we were young. it couldn't be helped, it wasn't a happy ending for him either at the end of the rainbow when he realised that marital vows are not as sacred as religion would like it to be.

what happens when best intentions twist something tolerable into something ugly?

getting married, giving birth, raising children, sending them on their way once they're old enough... but when is 'old enough' really 'old enough'?

it's understandable that parents would want to bubblewrap their children as much as possible, keep them from harm's way. like they say, prevention is better than cure. asian parenting vs western parenting; the main cleavage that's deeper than the one between a bimbo's artificially-inflated chest pumped full of silicon.

even as the net of parental love, concern and of course, the ubiquitous 'for your best interest' trap closing in tighter by the day, i panic.
how?

but y*ogu*ru gives me unconditional love! hur hur go to the kal*lang branch; good service, better servings!
