it's weird how the flu hits you so suddenly and quickly.
one moment, you're sitting under the trees swaying in the wind, thinking ah this is the island life and trying to stifle your secret desire to act out some se^ntosa advertisement, and the next, your euphoric inhalation of tropical air is hindered by an ugly-sounding sniffle. what's even more mystifying is the fact that the weather today was hotter (not even warm, mind you, but blistering, searing heat) than a bitch in menopausal heat. but i suppose yoyo-ing from the hot outdoors to overly-chilled indoors repeatedly does not a healthy girl make, and now i'm paying the price for adding on to global warming.
and since i chose to remedy my suddenly-blocked nose with the throat-killing substance also known as spicy seaweed, now there's a party along my throat-nose highway. like hitting a gravel patch after an oil spill, i'm not sure whether to wallow in self-pity about my now-sore throat, or continue blowing my nose with nothing to show for it.
it's barely been a week since school started, and i'm breaking down like a secondhand pr^oton saga bought on credit. pfffft.
oh. and thankyu manymany to YOU, who went to no less than three shopping centres to get me fan cuz believe it or not, even with the miserable tininess of the hall room, my bed still doesn't get any fan wind and i've been finding myself sleeping on the floor directly under the fan. feeling loved =)
