tagboard sucks harder than my vacuum cleaner. which is saying alot, cuz my trusty little philips is one powerful gadget. wanted to just put up a new board, but ended up stuck on the new editing features i hadn't bothered to look at until now; who cares about lesson plans to be done, worksheets to be churned out, room to be cleaned, and of course, reflections and THE journal (which is, incidentally, 34879328749284 pages long) to complete. look at the time!
you know you're getting re-ally old when 8:30 is considered late-ish. either that, or you're a t-e-a-c-h-e-r. the school had a 2-day enrichment program thingie, and everyone is allowed to report an hour later tomorrow... except yours truly, thanks to three back-to-back, fun-filled P*E lessons starting at 7:45. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
is reliance on religion a sign of weakness or an act of humility, submitting to a higher power? on one hand i suppose you can say that you pray, put things in god's hands and have confidence. and like any other self-fulfilling prophecy, things usually turn out alrightey- O. even if they don't, hey, you can just reflect on it and pray more.
perhaps the key to all things is confidence. maybe. definitely. i'm not gonna make my chances of entering the pearly gates even slimmer than they already are by declaring religion a moral clutch used by the mentally weak, but if confidence is the key to success- or even, getting through your day in one piece- does it really matter where it springs from?
oh, but of course there's those little trifling things like the safety of your soul, god's wrath, Armageddon, amongst many others. nobody likes being an orphan, do they? it's like a contract, like those almost all societies sign with their governments; follow my rules and laws, and i'll guarantee your safety. then does it mean that the only difference between the state and religion is physical vs spiritual well-being? and hell is just a fancier, albeit hotter, type of jail?
but then again, how can you compare politicians to god. oh dear.
just discovered that i happily put down my blog address on my class' go*ogle groups without realizing it. which means i might have some unannounced guests. hello hello~
