when does your blog cease being your own, and at which point do you start writing with an audience in mind?
if blogs are free-for-all in the worldwide web, and private thoughts (read: politically incorrect ones) should either be aired at the risk of possibly drawing the ire of close ones, or be locked up on a for-your-eyes-only basis, then why do we even bother to start blogging?
to show off the profundity of our thoughts?
to flaunt our linguistic abilities?
to live out our unrealized dreams of being a published writer?
to stave off boredom?
as if i'd really post anything incriminatory here. if you were me, would you?
