wah.
spent a healthy chunk of the weekend doing up powerpoint slides; it's ok i don't REALY mind cuz i rather like fiddling with the colours and all, and since vista has such pwetty graphics it's almost ok.
at least it gave me a sense of achievement, however misplaced or premature. *pats self on the head*
and i'm sorry if i come across as being cutting or harsh, but i have zero tolerance for people who don't pull their weight in group work. whether it's due to disinterest or inability matters little to me; if you've been delegated work to do, you jolly well better do it, and do it properly. i'm not your nanny, i'm not your tutor; in the group setting, i'm not even your friend. i'm your collaborator, i'm your colleague. scary bitch mode i know. but it's a steep learning curve for me, too, working in groups and agonizing whether i should cover people's ass more so that my grades won't be affected adversely. a totally foreign concept to me. pui.
watched Balls of fury (or rather, balls of furry, as the boy keeps on pronouncing it) yesterday; i wanted to watch lust: caution, but after plaintive pleading from himself, and being the very-nice person that i am *cough*, i actually watched a slapstick comedy about ping pong, 'or as the chinese call it... ping pong'. OMG. i want my brains back. but it was harmless fun HEE as a sidenote, may i please announce that MAGGIE Q IS LIKE HOW FUCKING HOT.
my korean flag arrived!! *happy* was busy camwhoring with san and the flag hur hur gonna catch a few winks- my own, thankyu very much too much temptations as it is- before lesson at 1030, or kopi with shilin, whichever is later. hmmm. sounds wrong. but it's ok it's monday, bleddy monday. pffft.
