had a filming session for our G & D project just now at the esplanade; it's been quite some time since i last brought the sister out, and it was nice to just buy her some stuff and feed her yummy food, although i know her mom is more than capable of doing the same, if not much more. and i realised that, for a kid who doesn't really play sports (nobody to play with....) she's pretty well co-ordinated, not to mention strong. i really should make more of an effort to spend more time with her engaged in physical activities.. before she misses her window of opportunity.
then it was on to reasonably-nice bakuteh at turf city for dinner; it was ok, i suppose, in a non-threatening (?) way, if you know what i mean. i've never really tried bakuteh before; that time with the D blockers doesn't really count cuz i was sick and couldn't taste the soup at all. bah. but the bottom line is that i still prefer seafood; fish, prawns, that sort of stuff.
and the fish soup near ntu is pretty yummy! kannan brought me and roomie out for supper last night, and we saw (or heard) some scawee people; to me, at least. i mean who gets drunk in a coffeeshop? *traumatised*
came back and had a can of nice, cold beer (so much for no-beer-for-a-month) and promptly concussed. i don't know if it was the beer, or the fact that i didn't have enough sleep last night, or the relaxing scent of sandalwood wafting around in the room, thanks to the spanking new air freshener. our room seems to have this yucky, musty smell. grossness. even with the 'stench' of freshly laundered clothes!! can you imagine.
it's already october; august and september seriously FLEW by. one more month to exams! sho fast, everything is on fastforward. only, the deadlines are looming near but i'm on pause mode. HEE.

then it'll be exams on the 15th and 19th november.
the worst thing is that, despite this mountain of work to do, i'm still lying on my tummy, BLOGGING. wake up, miss park!!
