i cut my hair today! yes going on about mundane everyday things now. too tired of being angry and stressed and emo. only thing is that now i can't go clubbing tomorrow cuz of my bandaged and smelly ankle. bah.
my face stings after peeling; i refuse to look like a burn victim, so rubbed out the brown bits. apply after-sun lotion FOR WHAT. still peel like a potato. damn gross. pffffft.
went to jp with the roomie after sinseh at clem; bought fazly a stupid goodluckcomebackinonepiece present, ate ALOT of food, and basically relaxed without the help of intoxicating liquids. amazing.
and came back to finish ed psych 2 reflections. feeling disciplined. actually not really, cuz the reflections should have been done by last week (but to be handed in tomorrow whaaat). intro to PE midterm results were rather disappointing, but i can't complain cuz i didn't study for it, and i could have done a whole lot worse. but still. i shall study hard to get a much better grade for the finals. REALLY. MCQs have never been my forte- a constant bane in my academic career, actually. how to choose the best answer?? it's all subjective.
if life were an MCQ test- sure feels like that now; choose A, B, C, D or E etc- i'd definitely fail miserably. not that i'm doing so super well now, but you get what i mean? sometimes, the best choice is no choice. given too many options, we falter, and that's when the little monsters hiding under your bed waiting for signs of weakness come sit on your chest at night, gnawing at your thoughts and eating into your dreams.
i believe that our capacity to love is certainly limited, but our ability to suffer isn't. we are constructed to be self-destructive, and are paranoid in love; and yet, when it comes to suffering, aren't we all experts, wallowing in misery and repeating that same sad scene over and over again, like a broken record player. when all we need to do is to pull the plug. it can be done, really.
when people find out that i'm korean, and make some generic comment like 'oh korean girls are pretty', what am i supposed to say? take it as a compliment, assuming that it includes me, or laugh it off uncomfortably? someone tell me the fail-safe reply please, cuz i always wonder.
the boy took me to eat at Curry Favour at velocity yesterday *loves* it was yummy! my curry was actually passably spicy, and the service was nubbad. not sure how much it cost hee hee but i definitely would go back; yum yum. but i still prefer my own curry. been so long since i last cooked; i miss cooking for people. it might sound REALLY weird, coming from me, but i do look forward to the day i set up my own home, and be able to cook for my husband and children. cuz i plan to be the best mother my children can have. but about cleaning up... the maid will do it. HAHA *hint to someone*
ok i have nothing else to empty from my head; the idea of an inclusive society in singapore, as far as disabled people are concerned, seriously drained me. laughable, isn't it.
