My ipod died. somehow i'm not that surprised. considering the fact that san san's and mine got drenched at the same time- hers even more so than mine, i daresay- it is, of course, mine that chooses to die on me. and i arrived at the apple service centre 6 minutes too late before they knocked off. SIX MINUTES. SIGH.
What i'm surprised at, however, is how sad i am. went to mom's office to clear up some paper work for her while madame is enjoying snow, i discovered a dead fish in the fish tank. floating belly-up. but its eyes were open. i suppose fish ALWAYS die with their eyes open, almost like they know that death is coming, but i just felt really sad for the fish. sho silly. I read somewhere that fish don't have souls. but i'm sorry i tried to flush you down the toilet. i guess koi, however mini, are just too big and elegant to go in such an undignified manner.
Maybe it's just a sad day for me. a sad, rainy day. without ice cream.
Or perhaps i'm just tired. insomnia slapped me in the face again last night, and i slept only around 3 hours before work. but it's been fun bitching and giggling with shilin and her friend katherine for the past 2 days. and I'M NOT A SCARY PERSON. Just selective. but then again, aren't we all?
When i wake up tomorrow in the darkness of dawn, i pray for i) a better mood ii) my ipod to come back to life, and iii) a great day.
It'll happen to you, too, sooner or later. Watch for it. :)
