Perhaps i'm now more ready to accept that there is a greater force out there, and that i'm but a small element in the greater scheme of things. If i die, the earth will not stop revolving. If my heart breaks, life goes on. I suppose it's just a matter of being able to be humble enough to accept that perhaps some things are beyond my control, and be wise enough to take a more philosophical approach to things.
And that when sometimes things don't work out to how i'd hoped they'd turn out, i shouldn't always take it so hard. Because sometimes it's my fault, sometimes it's not totally my fault, and sometimes shit happens beyond my control.
Sometimes i could have tried my best, but if the outcome was still not so desirable, all i can do is pick myself up and move on. keep on fighting. If the answer is so obvious in writing, then why did i take 23 years to realise it?
I hope to have a more fruitful 2007. Looking back, 2006 wasn't a bad year per se. I grew up an inch emotionally, I graduated, got exposed to the working world, met some great people at the workplace, and found out more about myself. 2007 means new year, new job, and hopefully, a more polished me.
I was too lazy to send out new year greetings this year.. but thanks to all those who were not so lazy. haha
Crescendra, i hope you find NIE as fulfilling as i know you're hoping it'll be. You will have fun and meet lots of fabulous people. Stop buying fancy clothes for school!
Daphne, it was nice to see you again after so long, and i'm happy to see that you seem more settled in life. Even if it feels like it's no longer the same, and by maturing there's more distance between us, perhaps people change as they grow up, and we did too.
Pearlyn, get married soon so that i can go become your jie mei and make fries out of potato man!
Kailing, you must faster faster become some big-shot accountant and give me a big fat treat with your first paycheck as a permanent staff k panda power!
Yiling, study hard, but enjoy your final year in school.. don't worry ihg will be FINE
Angeline, go do your fantastic honours project, and remember me when you discover the cure to cancer and get your photo splashed across all the major newspapers.
Jessica, ok i know i told you "i'll be free til January so there'll be plenty of chances for me to meet you don't worry". I didn't lie but i was lazy. You can ask Basu. But you don't know who Basu is. If i ever get my ass down to trainings i'll see you haha
Alin, i wish i was a student again so that i could have a nice teacher like you. Thank you for your tireless greetings for holidays, invites to weddings, hari raya etc etc. One day, ONE DAY i'll turn up yah :)

Zixiang, than you for your sweet messages and for remembering. I just wish it could have turned out better. Study hard in your final year ok?
Sallyyyyy my lambchops, smoke less smile more stop wearing bugis pants la bet that makes your male candidates horny HEE meet me more! :)
Sheryl Sim Bolster Boobs Godma, firstly i'd like to say your tagboard sucks cuz i can't post any messages. Secondly i'd like to admit that yes, i'm one of those little people who'd like to leave you messages telling you how much i love you and worship you, and cheer up etc etc. But let me also tell you that i suspect you're PAYING these people to leave such messages, cuz you sho mean! When people tell you that they love you, you grovel on your knees and kiss the earth with your tear-stained face because you're so darn grateful. But then again, you're the Booby Godma. The BG does what she wants, when she wants, whichever way she wants. What the BG wants, the BG gets. So read this and cheer up a leetle k not too much cuz that's never cool *hugs*
Melissa, thank you for the pretty necklace. You were a good mentor; perhaps it was i who was never good enough.
And dear, i'm sorry if i'm not perfect. But thank you for everything.
