woke up at 6a.m today. mostly cuz derrick had to go off to sail at tt ungodly hour. bleh. navy sux to high heavens!!! Han Na dsnt like d navy. :p
BUT. i guess there r advantages to waking up early. feeling so productive & efficient; haf been looking thru rugby books & coming up wif yet more evil drills hur hur
read marcus' blog, & i noe dis is totally not d point of his entry, i'm sure, but i realised tt yes, there R many seniors hu haf left & whom onli my batch remembers. & when we graduate.. our existence in KR, d place we gave up 4 yrs of our life to & found so much more in return, will b nothing but faded, watercolor memories. so.. here's a tribute (!) to seniors of yesteryear hu haf left an impression on me

Adrian (self-proclaimed he-bitch, A-Drain)- the outgoing blkhead when i came in as a freshie. totally awed me with his du-lan face but disarmingly nice smile. shamelessly bitchy, volleyball god.
Vimal Kumar S/O Ramanathan- remember being toatlly outclassed by dis guy during mini olympics during FWOC. cemented e blk as a scary sports block in my freshie's mind; a block which i was so proud to belong to once. besides, his name was a total bitch during RBI la. dammit.
Ryan- d one hu talked to me abt being in blk comm. still rem him being so nice n taking d time to actually talk to me abt it.
Weilun- was not close to dis senior at all, but i juz rem being reali impressed with dis all rounder- multipurpose sportsman, dean's lister. whoa.
Esther- pretty skinny elder sister of my JC mate. from crescent too! a real lady, always smiling.
Hong Feng- d deepest impression i haf of him is him sponsoring d ice-cream on d sly during my veri first supper as a freshie, an E blocker, a Kent Ridgean & an NUS student. i tot it was reali sweet.
Mavis- i reali looked up to her as all tt i wanted to b; responsible fellow blk comm member, hardworking student, & of coz, handball goddess. but somehow cld never get close to her. weird huh.
Q.H (aka tootall/bossman)- my blkhead; of coz he's too tall la dammit haha rem dropping by his rm alot when we were at d old hall, juz looking at his fish n generally mindlessly disturbing him.
Chin (aka chinnychinchin)- finest athlete in KR *cough* at first i tot he was a grouchy bear when i did flag with him & vincent. dis impression turned out to b true. but still fun to pinch his cheeks.
Vincent (aka vicious)- rem talking to him on d bus on d way back from flag. always gave me d impression of dependability & steadfastness. all d best in all tt u do yah vicious :)
Ru Jin (not reali a senior la my batch one)- ru jin man! onli E blker from illios- was my lifeline during d first few weeks. my sole fellow freshie in blk comm. always nice to sit in his car n b driven ard; d one hu did alot of backgrd work but was never recognised for it. more's d pity.
Pearlyn- my 7th floor sister! d one hu made hall life bearble when there was nothing left in it for me. thank u dearie.
Han Mao- super phantom one, dis one, can! haha boy genius maths god.
D block: seriously did not interact with dis blk much in my freshie yr.. heh so ironic.
Yanming!- aka my tallest fren haha d one senior hu believed in overrated little me
Gallen- derrick’s homo partner, although u wldnt b able to guess tt they even noe each other. Looks like a drug addict gg cold turkey sometimes.
C block:
Wen Jye/Jie- haha him n his fish lips. always associate my fwoc wif him, totally cant rem y now tho. :)
Issac- he was d original man. sori nick, but as a freshie he was d ultimate la haha always saw nick as issac's sidekick, to a certain extent. rem mu tou? hahaha hilarious.
Yee Pern- constant constipated look!! ^^;; but he did an excellent job during FWOC!
Derrick- hur hur
Zhongming- my por 'victim'; heard he tot i liked him haha took him so many yrs juz to talk to me normally. tts y dating game kinda sucked in tt respect. things r so much more casual now.
Andrew- so anutie!! haha d person to disturb when derrick fell asleep so early n i cldnt sleep yet. always playing game/hitting on girls. but mostly playing game. :) d one hu missed d pear parties haha
Julian- my fav punching bag! (?) d ONLI guy i noe hu LAUGHS, actually LAUGHS & SNEERS at me when i try desperately to inflict some kind of physical pain on him. d one hu went for ALL d ps lectures of tt one ps module we took tog n gor C+ for it. *giggle*
Geraldine- ok la my batch too, but d one hu dua-ed me n changed majors in our 2nd yr haha not tt i went for enuff lectures anyway haha :) always so jealous of how she cld carry off her clothes. seeing her run during touch reminded me of those watemill thingies, her legs r so freaking damn long!

B block: my attached block during FWOC. they were so fantastic, wished i were in b blk at 1st
Felicia- not close to dis senior, but in ALL culture groups. can u beat tt.
Godwin- walks like a pigeon! d jcrc president when i was a freshie. rem him literally hanging in d air when he was taking a shot during handball.
Cheese- forever smiling one! ball of energy.
Xiaohui- sho pretty pretty. sho tall too. sho shweet. like peichoo but abt 15 cm taller
Lee Zhong- robotic blkhead haha so efficient.

Shin- d totally chor lor senior hu took time to talk to traumatised freshie me. never reali got to tell her thank you, altho i'll c her during src trainings. so.. thank you, shin.
Larry- larry mok! haha jcrc prez in my 1st/2nd yr. confused him with godwin for a while. for a while onli. rem him printing 'phenomenon' on his jersey n me asking y. his answer? 'muz make d printing money worth it mah'
Franklin- moo moo haha sometimes i wonder wat if. juz sometimes. ;)
Toh Ken- d forever smiling one.. such a ladykiller smile. d first senior to call me Park Hannah everytime he sees me. still a joy to c him ard, such a nice & sweet guy. :)
Ai May- my SMU boss. forever falling dwn during matches n making ppl worry one. she n her 'concise' speeches n 'efficient & short' meetings. haha but she's one of those seniors hu made KR wat it was.
all these ppl.. long gone from NUS & KR.. with every new batch of freshies tt come in, things haf changed so, so much since I was one myself. as a yr 1, those seniors seemed so perfect, such hard acts to follow. now tt i'm a final yr myself, i doubt i'm even a shadow of wat they were. sigh.
